Description

The CURTINA X405 aluminium profile forms a closed curtain niche with two integrated tracks for curtains and drapes and with lighting. It is designed for stretch ceilings with a harpoon fastening system for PVC membranes. The membranes are fastened at the same level on both sides of the niche, and an INSERTA Y008 decorative insert closes the harpoon grooves.

For lighting, install an LED strip inside the profile's lighting chamber. An INSERTA Y015 or DIFFUSY Y114 diffuser closes the chamber, conceals the LEDs and produces even illumination.

Curtains hang on HOOKARA Y701 roller hooks or SLIDENE Y702 roller gliders. The PRASEKA Y805 tool punches an opening in each track so the hooks and gliders can be removed quickly together with the curtains. Fit a HOOKEND Y704 stop before the opening to keep the hooks and gliders inside the track. Remove the stop before taking down the curtains.

What's in the box

The profile is supplied in the length selected when ordering. No additional components are included in the package.

Installation

Fix the profile to the structural ceiling with screws or anchors through ANGLOVA Y401 mounting brackets at intervals of no more than 1.5 m.

Join profile sections with a 2 mm joint pin and a 15 mm joining band without a step or visible gap. If the niche runs from wall to wall, join CURTINA X405 to the wall profiles. If it ends within the ceiling plane, close the open end with an ENDCAPP Y205 end cap.

Insert the membrane into the harpoon grooves with a straight installation spatula. If the niche ends within the ceiling plane, glue the membrane to the end element. The membrane can be removed without damage.

Adhere an LED strip up to 14 mm wide to the shelf inside the lighting chamber. Close the chamber with an INSERTA Y015 or DIFFUSY Y114 diffuser. To replace the strip, remove the diffuser while the stretch membrane stays in place.
