Description

The LIGHTRA X050 aluminium dividing profile creates 50 mm light lines in stretch ceilings with a harpoon fastening system for PVC membranes. Its wide lighting chamber takes one or two rows of LED strip. The profile suits straight lines and closed outlines.

A DIFFUSY Y150, DIFFUSY Y150 B or INSERTA Y050 diffuser closes the lighting chamber, conceals the LEDs and produces even illumination. The aluminium body dissipates heat from the strip.

Corner harpoon grooves secure the membrane on both sides of the lighting chamber. The rigid aluminium body preserves the shape of the wide light line.

What's in the box

The profile is supplied in 2 m lengths, with no extra components.

Installation

Fix the profile to the structural ceiling with ANGLOVA Y401 mounting brackets. Drive the screws along the markings on the upper wall of the body.

When extending a wide light line, connect the sections with joint pins and a BANDURA X801 joining band. Make turns and intersections with ready-made welded LIGHTRA NX050 corners.

Insert the PVC membrane harpoon into the corner grooves on both sides of the lighting chamber.

Adhere the LED strip to the shelf in one or two rows. Close the lighting chamber with a DIFFUSY Y150, DIFFUSY Y150 B or INSERTA Y050 diffuser. To replace the strip, remove the diffuser while the stretch membrane stays in place.
