FLOATIA is a range of profiles for LED-lit shadow gaps around the perimeter of a stretch ceiling. Models X301–X304 differ in mounting and diffuser use.
The profiles are designed for harpoon-fixed PVC membranes and made from EN AW-6063 T5 aluminium. They hold the membrane edge at a defined distance from the wall and position the LED strip so that light emerges from the reveal.
Depending on the model, the profile is fixed to the wall or ceiling. Versions include an open lighting channel or accommodation for a diffuser. A reinforced ceiling-mounted version is used where wall fixing is unavailable. See the product page for the exact diagram and dimensions.
Ready-made NX302 corners are designed for perimeter turns. Select the LED strip, power supply and service access according to the design. Use a diffuser only with a compatible profile version.
Where lighting is not required, INVISIA provides an unlit shadow gap. The construction is explained in LED shadow gaps and floating ceilings.

Frequently asked questions
When should FLOATIA be chosen instead of INVISIA? When the shadow gap needs illumination. For a similar visual setback without mandatory lighting, choose INVISIA.
How does FLOATIA differ from LIGHTRA? FLOATIA illuminates the perimeter at the walls. LIGHTRA creates a light line in the ceiling surface.
What should be checked before ordering? Fixing location, profile section, diffuser provision, compatible corners and the power supply scheme.
