LIGHTRA creates a light line in the ceiling surface, while FLOATIA illuminates a shadow gap at the wall. Both use LED strips, but their construction differs.

Use a light line to run a straight strip across the ceiling, form a frame or divide the space into zones. Light passes through a diffuser installed in the LIGHTRA profile. Turns and intersections are assembled from compatible components.

An LED shadow gap provides soft perimeter lighting. The FLOATIA profile holds the membrane edge away from the wall and positions the strip so that light emerges from the reveal. The ceiling appears detached from the walls without a bright strip across its surface.

The two solutions can be combined in one room, but they use different profiles and installation details. Plan power supply and service access for each run. Neither profile replaces a slot air diffuser.

Frequently asked questions

Can LIGHTRA replace FLOATIA? No. LIGHTRA runs a line across the ceiling surface, while FLOATIA forms an illuminated perimeter reveal.

Can both solutions be used together? Yes, if the design provides both runs, separate profiles and the necessary electrical connections.
